Interstellar Mapping UK took part in the Prepare for Space programme, which was created to help UK companies to break into the space sector. Support includes assistance in creating proposals and business cases to speed up the contracting process and enhance commercial viability, while also improving technical strength and programme coherence.
As providers of geospatial intelligence, Interstellar Mapping connect raw data to actionable mission decisions, helping to direct rovers, select suitable base sites, or identify resources for in-situ utilisation.
Interstellar mapping work alongside commercial operators and space agencies through their entire planning phase, developing datasets from the latest surface and orbital observations.
Acting as the ESA Technology Broker for the UK, TWI held bi-weekly meetings with Interstellar mapping for more than six months, highlighting potential opportunities.
Commenting on the support they received, Interstellar Mapping said, “The programme helped us understand the complexities of the UK as well as the European space and defence ecosystems.”
