TWI’s Dr Abbasi Gandhi represented the ESA Technology Broker UK at a recent Space East event at the University of Essex.
Space East, a space cluster for the East of England and supported by the UK Space Agency brought together innovators, researchers, businesses and talent to explore how space is driving innovation, economic growth and real-world impact across the region.
Dr Gandhi delivered a presentation outlining the work of the ESA Technology Broker UK in helping businesses outside of the space sector to bring their ideas and technologies into the industry, providing innovative new solutions while opening up new business opportunities and revenue streams for themselves.
This event showed the important role that the East of England has to play in the UK’s growing space economy with conversations, collaboration and opportunities being high on the agenda.
This event once-again demonstrated the strength that exists when industry, academia and the public sector align around a shared vision.
We would like to thank everyone who worked hard behind the scenes and on the day to make the event such a success.
