Dr Abbasi Gandhi, who is also TWI’s Space Sector Business Development Executive, attended Space-Comm Expo Scotland.
The event took place at the SEC, Glasgow, from 3-4 December, 2025, bringing together over 2,000 global leaders from government and business along with over 100 speakers and 50 exhibitors to showcase the very latest space technologies and capabilities.
The expo provided a great opportunity for Abbasi to meet with a range of business leaders, scientists, engineers, academics, and space industry experts for discussions around the future of space exploration and technology.
Meanwhile, Vito Di Pietro, who is also TWI’s Senior Space Industry Sector Manager, was at the ESA Conference Centre in Harwell for the 21st Appleton Space Conference.
Taking place on 4 December, 2025, the conference brought together academics and industry leaders from across the space sector to celebrate the latest advances in space science, Earth observation, and technology development as well as exploring future opportunities.
These events provide a fantastic forum for those who are, or wish to be, engaged in the UK space sector to share knowledge and ideas as well as network with other interested parties.
