ESA Technology Broker UK representative Dr Abbasi Gandhi attended the ‘Space Sector Supply Chain Engagement and Meet the Buyer Event’, where he met with a range of businesses keen to expand their operations into the space sector.
Held at Space Park Leicester on 26 November 2026, the event brought together buyers and suppliers to showcase capabilities, build new relationships, and hear insights from industry specialists. With around 90 organisations in attendance, the day offered extensive opportunities for networking across both space and non-space industries.
Dr Gandhi participated in a series of scheduled ‘Meet the Buyer’ discussions that were organised for the day, where he outlined the role of the ESA Technology Broker UK programme and highlighted accessible pathways for organisations seeking to enter or expand within the space domain in alignment with ESA’s ambitions for innovation.
As the space sector continues its rapid growth—driven by collaboration between private enterprise and national and international space agencies—the ESA Technology Broker programme plays an essential role in promoting and enabling cross-sector technology transfer. By supporting organisations from diverse industries, the programme helps accelerate the next generation of space exploration, services, and in-orbit capabilities.
